Learning, Living, and thriving Through HER2+ Breast Cancer

In 2018, at 37 years old, I was diagnosed with HER2+ breast cancer. As a wife, mother of three young children and maintaining a full-time job, I struggled with this diagnosis and searched for answers. I finished treatment at the end of April 2019 and found out three weeks later that my cancer had metastasized into my lymph nodes while receiving chemotherapy treatments. After nine surgeries, 25 rounds of radiation, and entering my second year of chemo treatments, I wanted to create a site that provided the resources and answers I have learned along the way for newly diagnosed women with HER2+ breast cancer, as well as survivors. A new cancer website developed by a cancer survivor. This is my story…I hope it will provide you with resources to make your cancer journey easier and more manageable than mine. My hope is that this website will be a place that helps provide some of those answers. So whether you are newly diagnosed, in treatment, a caregiver, family member or friend, this site is to help you find what you are seeking as you go through your own journey with HER2+ breast cancer.
